 The pen operates with the twist action to expose and retract the ballpoint nib which writes in blue ink with a fine and smooth flowing action. The laser pointer is operated by pushing the small button located on the side of the upper barrel. A pocket clip on the opposite side allows you to slip the pen into a jacket pocket where it will be easily accessible. A decorative element made up of rows of small silver accents adorn the lower barrel just above the nib and a decorative circle around the middle completes the sophisticated look. The pen comes in a tin box that has a long slim shape and rounded edges. Inside, a foam inlay protects the writing instrument and also offers space to hold the three small batteries needed to power the laser light.
